The miniseries is told entirely from producer Albert S. Ruddy's chair, not the director's, not the studio head's. Ruddy is also exec producer, which is the entire point. Miles Teller plays Ruddy. Matthew Goode plays Robert Evans. Dan Fogler plays a young Francis Ford Coppola losing the studio fight to keep Pacino in the role. Ten episodes covering the making of The Godfather in 1971-72. Paramount commissioned its own origin story.
