Paatal Lok

Sudip Sharma structured an assassination investigation as four short films, one per suspect, each in its own dialect and geography. Jaideep Ahlawat plays Hathi Ram Chaudhary, a middle-aged Outer Delhi cop handed the high-profile case as a favor. The title is literal. Hindu cosmology names three lokas: Swarga, Dharti, Paatal. The show stays in the third one. Loosely based on Tarun Tejpal's novel The Story of My Assassins.
