ITO Bindery Memo Block
ITO Bindery · Memo Block
everydaystationery
A 350-sheet memo block, top-bound with a brush-applied glue method that hasn't changed since the Ito family opened the bindery in 1938. The three non-glued edges are precision-trimmed so the block reads as a clean rectangle of paper, not a stack. Tokyo, Edogawa Ward. Memo blocks launched 2009; Good Design Award 2010. The drawing pad sits in the MoMA Store. White, gray, red, or black. The black one costs twice as much.
